It all seems so simple to me…
Throw back or way-shower, broken or inspirational, inconvenient or key influencer and right on time. Diversity is always interesting but, right now, it could be crucial and here’s a few thoughts about why (as originally posted to Living Whole). Continue reading →

Why the songbird stops singing: the need to be at liberty to change our minds
When we force ourselves into projects that our hearts are no longer in, just because we said we would do them, our emotions build up in places where they don’t even see light of day; turning into the chronic issues of the next era… Continue reading →

Growing up
The astonishing aroma from these giant trees, straight after the storms, acted like an acute sensory hit or an activation of sorts and it turned out they had a great deal to tell me… Continue reading →

Creating from the place in the middle
It feels like there is a leading edge thing going on where art and technology meet. They both pull me together and repel me, in equal proportions; the repellant part where I’m having to revise processes that are stuck in … Continue reading →

On the insistence upon proof
Last night, I watched “The man who knew infinity” and am still unravelling the many threads that this film started unpicking for me but one thing I noticed is how I now find I am able to call a truce with left-side pursuits such as maths and science just as soon as I notice that their innate process of using and following intuition and of following a path towards god or source is no different, really, than mine. Where the rift has occurred – for me, perhaps for the whole modern world – has been where left-brainedness has become synonymous with this absolute insistence upon demonstration of every step that took you to that brand new place using preexisting yardsticks; that nothing is considered anything in this current world paradigm (which is, I believe, about to change) without irrefutable proof first which is, in most cases, putting the cart before the horse. One of my favourite quotes from Einstein is “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it” and I believe this as a fundamental start point to all problem solving , in light of which demanding “proof” is like a noose dragging you back inside that old paradigm and holding you prisoner there. The Lady Falls…and then she stands back up again
It was undoubtably a stunning waterfall, many feet high; tall and elegant like a woman’s robes tumbling down into a serene pool of softly flowing liquid coloured brownish-red by the earth she carries with her. She could have been a goddess standing there in the water, the sun in her hair but, this time, a little aloof like she had been bothered by people before and so turned her back and withdrawn….Sharing a visit to a waterfall that felt very different to all the others we had visited but which (it turned out) had just as much to show me, with some much-needed comedy injected into it all… Continue reading →
