Who or what are you holding yourself together for?

Who are you at your very core, are you well acquainted and comfortable together, does that part get heard and allowed regular expression and how often do you operate from that aspect of self, as priority…foundational to all else, as the source of your true identity and resilience? A post written for Living Whole which feels like it has so much relevance here that I am reposting. Continue reading

Logically spiritual

For the longest time, I pushed back against “logic” and “order”, “structure” and “form as though they were the very enemies of my being. Since my Asperger’s diagnosis, I’ve been compelled to review that attitude and flip it on its … Continue reading

Evolving through collective grief to the other side

Are we prepared to evolve? Really? Through all of our layers, to the very core of our being, fully commited to this in every way? Its such an important question and not being clear on this can prolongue a state of unacknowledged grieving for the “old norm”; grieving being a necessary process for both individuals and the collective…but not one we are meant to get stuck in for very long. Continue reading

The terrible responsibility of “just knowing”

This latest phase of technology, known as 5G, is being rolled out regardless of the lack of any significant “data” to demonstrate it will not significantly harm life on this planet (and plenty to suggest it will…); rushed through like some sort of shotgun wedding to cover the tracks of something else that is gestating on the other side of it. I’m no luddite, I love some of what technology can do, but I recognise when vested interest has got the upper hand over human and planetary wellbeing; and, once this is “switched on”, do we really think that those who control it are going to switch it back off, for any justification whatsoever? Have you even heard about the effect on the trees, the bees, the birds and the effect on plant growth, water, our very ecosystem? If this continues, I believe we will see one nefarious action after the other, “justified” by the drive to grab this new technology and with all of our previous niggles about the eco-crisis overshadowed into oblivion by a giant monster of an eco-meltdown, caused by playing with matches before we know enough about fire. Frazzled or evolving?

Are we frazzling our way to self-destruction…or “just” well on the way to transitioning into a whole new paradigm? Continue reading

Intact

Because I have had no label to give to what was going on with my health for so very long, I was able to swallow its bigness and swim through it even when I was bone-weary; drawing on a reserve of courage I never knew I had and never losing myself to expectations hung around its symptoms and what they supposedly meant. I went at it like a child, using my innate abilities, or as if I was the lone inhabitant of an island with no doctors to ask (since I had long since stopped asking) yet maybe this is what kept me going with such remarkable fortitude that people still sometimes fail to notice that there’s anything challenging me; in my real life, though I write about it, I don’t wear it around my neck. Its very-often the expectation of a certain outcome that “get us” in the end, as I’ve talked about many times before…and I had been forced to surrender all expectations but one; that I was always “whole” no matter what, never mind whatever else happened to me, and would take my life moment to moment, always searching for the gifts. Being light, choosing your vibe…whatever

It is as though we are collectively holding our breath at the start of election week, both highly triggered and oh-so quick to shoot each other yet simultaenously paralysed into the hopelessness of two dire “options” on the table; have we ever felt so short-changed? We are all affected, wherever we live; I see it in everyone’s face, I hear all the worries coming home from school with my daughter. There is a tangible feeling of overwhelm, of “what have we done, what are we doing” sweeping the world and this feeds into the cells of our biology, into all the subtle mindsets at play and into the collective vibration of the world. Can we really do anything? Well yes and I was just reminded through the experience I share in this post what a vast difference it can make!

Through the ways that we allow ourselves to engage with each other, respond mindfully and step up to our own power (or not!), we are making the notes on a vast collective instrument and the sound it is making right now is a little unsure of itself…even amongst those who consider themselves awake or evolving, those who chose love and envision a brighter future…yes, even those people are wavering somewhat, like they are really not sure what to do with themselves, where to put their attention, how to behave in the physical world or in the private domain of their own heart at this testing time. Some are being taken back into what feels like a relapse into the kind of fear and sense of lost power that they thought they had put behind them five or ten years ago and this is disorienting them; making them question their whole evolutionary journey or, like they used to, whether they really want to be here in human form. Yet never has it been more essential to apply everything we have come to know about being divinity in form as the “human actions” of our days; to allow the rubber to meet the road as we drive a new reality forwards, not suddenly bailing out into fear. As I learned last night, every thought counts as it holds the power to alter a reality; to drop down or climb back up the dimensional scale.

Many of us have come such a long way with our personal evolution over the last three to five years that what is playing out in the world feels, at once, so alien (thus not anything to do with us) yet also so doubly abrasive when we pop out of our high-vibe bubble that we hardly know how to respond. So many people that are “spiritual” are declaring an intention not to vote and yet I would urge them to take whatever steps resonate with their heart within the premise that “not to vote” is the same as voting for the other possibility. We have to take the physical, human steps towards our chosen reality as well as the mindful ones that help birth a new reality; I have learned this at every step of my evolution. To wishful think is not enough; it takes action “within the current paradigm” as well as intention-setting “outside of it” to create a new reality; the weight we give to the best we have out of the current physical circumstances serves as the traction against the walls of the birth canal that accelerates our journey towards the light at the end of the tunnel; we can’t just sit hoping for a better outcome and crossing our fingers we will get there. The whole world is holding its breath for America to vote-in the best deal on the current table and most of us can’t take that vote; we are asking Americans to do it for us; we are holding that intention with everything we have, hoping those who hold a ballet card will take that walk to the box. Many of us are bridging two realities now; one foot in the physical world, another in the metaphysical and we are that aspect keeping the two of them working together and in balance; after all, this is what makes us so divinely human; the best of both, embodied as one. Continue reading

At times like these

Its at times like this that the rainbow bridge that is our collective experience becomes most manifest; and that bridge (whatever it happens to look like…it might appear like no other rainbow we have ever seen…) is the fourth dimensional … Continue reading

Bless all the lambs

Their immense zest for life is the very thing that arrests me when I watch the lambs; the way these wooly youngsters engage with absolutely everything their idyllic green world has to offer, from the comedic pheasants walking by to the playful breeze that seem to whip them into jumping spirals of the most erratic motion, like leaves lifting off the ground. They race each other in playful gangs and they collaborate with audacious climbing partners, vying to get to the top. They suddenly leap up, bronking and bucking with bizarre spring-loadedness as though the ground has just tickled them. Then, when just as suddenly spent, they gravitate to their ever watchful mother’s side and succumb to warm grassy patches where, alone or in twin pairs, they meditate away all the gentle hours, eyes half closed and, yes, a kind of smile on their faces; apparently transported by an enviable ability to surrender themselves fully to the moment. Then again, suddenly up on those spring-loaded feet, they’re back to scrambling to that water’s edge, conquering the tree stump or forming pyramids on each other’s backs. If you have ever enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching a pack of dogs playing or even (for that matter) human children, these are really no different and their joie de vive is contagious as you watch. Windows of insight

All along the road that has been the fibromyalgia years, ‘brain fog’ (an appropriately wooly term used to describe a myriad of ‘brain symptoms’) has been such a significant part of what I have been experiencing…and, in fact, its one … Continue reading
