In search of a worthy impulse
Often the impulses that drive us bewilder us or they hurt, confound and distract, sending a us off on a macabre dance through pain and disillusionment, enslaved by a maniacal pulse tapped out by a pair of once beguiling red shoes we now long to shed but don’t know how. Slowly it becomes apparent, only we can take them off, no one else can do that for us, but how to break the spell? Continue reading →

A place for introverts
If all they want is for us to keep on shifting the same old furniture of life around into different yet, ultimately, finite arrangements in an ever-repeating cycle then keeping us so busy, time-poor and obsessively preoccupied by each other is the way to go about it. But, if we want anything truly new to occur to us, the kind of breakthrough that shifts a paradigm, we need those who do far better left alone to be allowed to spend more time doing what they do, the way they do it, untampered with… Continue reading →

Reframing success (and the universe always has a plan)
Redefining success as a woman, a parent, an individual: Am I finally prepared to own that I have had it all along, that every step of this journey speaks of (yes, unconventional) success in so many areas ready to be reappraised by our rapidly altering world paradigm, where many of us refuse to be defined or measured by what we “do” for a living. Being diverse; my life in training
Autism isn’t how most people imagine it and there are still such a lot of distorted beliefs and stigma attached, which creates a culture where diagnosis is missed or even avoided. I am autistic, yet it took me 51 years … Continue reading →

Window of opportunity as we learn to live from higher harmonics
At this point, I feel compelled to try and convey the pressing importance of choosing our own timeline carefully and consciously. The sense I get of there being, as it were, a whole bunch of possible timelines clutched in each of our hands at this unique moment and so we each get to single out the very one we want to become our next “reality’…but how do we do that, what do we listen to, where do we allow our minds to plunge and explore during this potent lockdown phase whilst still holding onto what is the highest outcome for us and truly making a positive difference, using our most specific and innate skills? Continue reading →
