Back in the body
Its been made all too easy for us, not just the most sensitive, to vacate our bodies, even preferable (culturally speaking) that we lose ourselves in escapism rather than staying fully awake and present, having an opinion or taking action regarding whatever timeline we are collectively on. Perhaps its time we sensitivies commited to becoming more grounded, practicing how to be more fully present with our bodies, learning to ride or even transform all the triggers, in order to anchor our higher vision to the physical world we all share together as our only embodied “home”. Cultivating joie de vivre
Joy of life is about the most valuable commodity we have so we need to take charge of our own joy quota and do whatever we can to embody it, not to idealise it as a state beyond all care, outside of physicality as though joy is what we refer to as heaven, but in a physical sense hung around with all our most human traits. Thus the phrase joie de vive has it covered for me, as in, referring specifically to “the joy of life”; a kind of joy that is because of life, not separate from it. People say how can I have this when “things” are so dire and I would say go after it, make it happen, yes from your soul, but then once you have found ways to bring it into your body, those outside circumstances will start to change! Personality type and the crystallisation process – understanding the human vehicle we chose
Try thinking of personality as the vehicle your spirit chose for the journey of this physcal life. When you know that you chose it, that its not an accident of genetics or fate, or the outcome of life’s conditioning, but something most particular that you chose for your higher purpose, with the exact features you wanted it to have, you enjoy driving it so much more and its self-empowering. It may even enable you to shift your entire paradigm… Continue reading →

The quickening
The Quickening is that rhythm, pulsed through the earth, that gives the blossom its cue to open from the bud, the birds to sing louder, the green shoots to push through the earth, the bulb to explode with new life, the mating pairs to think ahead to nesting, the first butterflies to risk flight, the clouds to give way to blue and the river to run with all-new vitality, casting sparkles into a clear sky. The way we received this rhythmn (indeed, whether we are able to receive it at all) affects everything about the way we manifest as human beings, as I have come to experience from both sides of what that feels like and, I can assure you, they feel very different indeed… Continue reading →

My journey with AuraTransformation
If you ever struggle to stay in your body, to remain grounded, or if (when you do) you feel so much that you are quickly depleted of energy or overwhelmed…and if you have come so far, done all the work, cleared so much, become so aware and yet your body and spirit seem to spar or pull apart in opposite directions, instead of staying contentedly together… this post might be for you… Continue reading →

Mixing up the wool with the silk
When we finally get to land in that place we have been circling yet never quite managed to get “in” to, we find that a great many things alter though the change in perspective may be subtle. With no expectations, no baggage, we simply become that divinely inspired meeting point of all that we are in the purely-creative pinpoint of each moment of self-exploration; one moment after another, ceaselessly rebirthing ourselves. Even if we have nothing to show for it but ourselves, we can never fail at this task and it will only ever lead us more swiftly and consistently towards our highest truth. Even if we seem to constantly change our minds or the direction we are heading in; even when we stop and start, backtrack, hesistate or take the slower, less obvious, route than other people seem to be taking, we are always in the process of creating our own greatest masterpiece or travelling our most divine path, right here and now if it is guided from this pin-point place where all our aspects meet like an internal compass of the heart. When the route we choose is all about following our own path and not about the distractions or collection of particular stop-offs we feel we “have” to make, we get to a place that is uniquely ours and which delivers something we were needing in that very moment, even though this may not be what we thought it would be. When we discover that we now have every choice at our fingertips…in fact, we can get our hands dirty with the stuff of life just as much as we want to from now on, but only in order to have some fun at being human and nothing to do with the old “slog and grind” that made it seem necessary or even better to go the long-hard way about doing anything, we dare to immerse ourselves in life without fear of being dragged back into the old ways of suffering and sacrifice. If things that used to feel just so important suddenly arn’t calling out to us any more, that’s fine; in fact its probably great. Think of it as a white noise switching off so we can better hear a brand new melody on the wind… Continue reading →

Uncommon alchemy: a Glastonbury tale
Repeatedly bumping into one or two people that you feel that you know and yet never saying a word to them (except with your eyes), knowing that they feel it too…these are the kind of clues to your own experience that present through the layers of Glastonbury. This along with so many signs and synchronicities that it is is quite possible to feel like you are entering a theme park dedicated to all of your own thematic threads, which gives it an air of detachment from everyday life that starts delivering as soon as you arrive. For this reason, I suspect, Avalon can only really be found through the portal of your own heart-journey, not somebody else’s route, so be prepared to give yourself up to this as fluidly as your timetable allows (preferably, having no such schedule). For my own part, I was struck by my choice of a week in October; an interesting choice, just before All Hallows and yet, I already suspected, going there when Somerset’s dark-pagan underbelly was closest to the surface was part of what was held in store for me…and it was.
Sharing an exceptional few days of pure alchemy working with the ancient landscape of Glastonbury…. (read on). Continue reading →

Catching onto the coat-tails of the cosmos
What these energies seem to particularly hook you up to…if you are open to being hooked…is the energy of pure “future potential”. You get “shown” little go-ahead lights that say, quite adamantly, “come this way” (or not) and…if you trust them…you get there all the sooner; in fact, time seems to morph into whole new shapes and rhythms using synchronicity and flow as its markers in lieu of clock-hands. Plans orchestrate together with remarkable ease, you sense you are working with the universe as your personal assistant by your side and the feeling of being on a golden trail lit up by a pathway of personal markers and clues is quite addictive, like a natural “high” that has you electrically fizzing but in such a good way. In fact, everything you do feels inspired and (in my case) is relatable to following the most creative surges of inspiration when I’m painting; those that take me somewhere new and exciting in my work. In moments of hesitation, you learn, the answer is probably “no” but perhaps you also need to step away and boil the kettle, walk the dog, take a moment in the garden. Once you feel clear again, you just know which way you are going, which “thing” is calling you to it. Its usually the one seems to asserts itself in a whole different way to all the other choices on the table (like it is literally “lit up” in your mental pictures of all the options) and even when logistical niggles and left-brained considerations try to make themselves heard (such as the thing you are most drawn to “costs more” than the one you feel you ought to choose) you sense strongly that this isn’t important and should be over-ridden; that it will all come right in unforeseen ways if you go with the “golden choice” and that this is is clearly the one with your name on it.
