Energetic time machine

Those of us that are energetically sensitive are picking up on cues from the broader environment that serve like quantum time-machines to jolt us into a multiple life-review of sorts. This happens to us all the time; subtle cues in our environment (in the same way as it could be a scent or a song on the radio…now, it could be a meteor shower scattering debris from a 20,000 year-ago cataclysm..) can open up these memory pockets to allow us to reprocess them again and again…hopefully in new and ever more evolved ways each time it “happens”. So, if we are starting to reprocess some of the deepest traumas of all, those which set us off on the planetry trajectory of thousands of years’ worth of fear-based thinking, then we are getting into some seriously transformational potential as a collective right now. Just a bit of a mind-bender and food for thought on this early November morn if you want to join me… Continue reading

The point of it all: memory shared

What is memory, where is it stored, how do we access it, do we all share it, how is it structured and how might this be evolving? Exploring this complex topic through a richly interwoven discussion of memories on a personal and global scale in what feels like one of the most pivotal posts I have offered to date. Choosing a trajectory

Does a butterfly, on the brink of that first flight, with nothing but an instinct as her guide to something she has never done before, suddenly decide not to jump? Could anything persuade her that there was no point to it, that she might as well curl up and pretend to still be a caterpillar down there on the ground? Launching ourselves at that “future” version of ourselves (rather than harping upon the experiences and limitations of the past…as we have learned to do so very well) is exactly like being a butterfly that must first try out those newly unfolded wings without having a clue what they were intended for and yet we are at that point as soon as we say we are ready for it. My writing and painting is all about encouraging that next forward-leap and tuning into what is truly possible around the edges of what “seems” to be our world (click on the link to read so much more…)

This is a milestone post exploring the WHOLE journey I have been on and what motivates me as an artist and writer. Continue reading

Getting over the ultimate catastrophe

What I had hit upon…what indeed we are talking about here is a mass case of post-traumatic stress disorder that we all share and which variable triggers in our environment (that is, anything we have come to associate with “catastrophe” at the deepest levels) may well being “playing” inside of us like notes on a piano as these memories ask to be shown to the light of our consciousness so we can heal this planet as one. If we are alive, here and now, we are (at DNA level) survivors of this unthinkable cataclysm that took place in near-history (so, first off, congratulate yourself for that!) and yet it has remained completely suppressed by the orthodox version of history that we are taught and also by our own bodies, which have in effect volunteered to bury the information because it was just too painful to be seen. Such locked away trauma has a tendency to play out through our unconscious behaviour patterns and so-called irrational fears and, sooner or later…in order to heal…must see the light of day by being made conscious. Continue reading

A walk in the park: healing the deepest wound of all

So, we chose our own life…but, if so, why would we choose yet another lifetime with the same old trauma “in it” that we’ve been through before, knowing that we are going to experience it all over again? In my opinion, certainly in my case, in order to heal it…to make this the grand finale, the one lifetime where I drew together all of the themes, the layers of understanding, the old gender-based and cultural wounds, the defunct historical context of what we have more recently been through, the fullest recollection of the “lost” aspect of the divine feminine that I could muster across all my multi-lifetime experiences and then a clear understanding of how to resuscitate her as a living reality in this newly awakening world. I chose this life so I could add all of these ingredients into one huge melting pot of experience…and to heal it all by seeing and acknowledging it all and, yes at some level, forgiving it all ready to move on. I did it in order to say at the end of it “I believe we can do better than that, we can work together to create something far different for our world now” – and so we can. Continue reading

Life without gears

Life lived in reaction is like driving a car with gears, it provides traction and moves us along a road, often taking us – what feels like – very far through the landscape of self-improvement and achievement. Measured that way, we get to feel the accomplishment of every hill climbed, every narrow bend negotiated, all the near-misses to drive yet another day. As such, we learn to crave those bumps in the road for all the ways they give our tyres something to rub against, giving us the sense of moving along but, while we continue to transport ourselves that way, we can’t think that the road will ever stop delivering what we crave as it never, ever, will. That road (to health, wealth, freedom, recognition…) can go on for all eternity if we really want it to, or if we don’t stop to consider that there are equally ‘real’ and vastly more expansive, new and altogether more mind-bending experiences awaiting us just the other side of our own (current) paradigm of what is possible… Continue reading
