Trick of the light
When you have felt disillusioned and out of place most of your life, though you have tried so very hard to bring light, what next? How do you bring the light deep into your struggling state of embodiment, to make the ultimate paradigm leap of your lifetime? You see it all as it is, you shout it out, you bring awareness in to light up the whole picture and you continue working at being the light and then…well, let’s see. Continue reading →

Back in the body
Its been made all too easy for us, not just the most sensitive, to vacate our bodies, even preferable (culturally speaking) that we lose ourselves in escapism rather than staying fully awake and present, having an opinion or taking action regarding whatever timeline we are collectively on. Perhaps its time we sensitivies commited to becoming more grounded, practicing how to be more fully present with our bodies, learning to ride or even transform all the triggers, in order to anchor our higher vision to the physical world we all share together as our only embodied “home”. Three winged tales for the year end
I’m going to share a trio of stories from my last day of the year; things that happened quite organically, though there seems to be a distinct thread of bird-magic running through them. The first relates to a new artwork … Continue reading →

New growth out of old wood
New growth out of old wood is infinitely possible; we see it all the time, out in Nature, happening before our very eyes. Winter’s tree is reliably replaced by springtime’s new growth, to a pattern that always serves the purposes of the tree, however it may look from the outside. Whilst anyone may choose to withdraw inwards to suit the season, becoming as woody, barren, plain and withdrawn as they must be to meet the harsher climes of life, we still get to choose when to “sprout” our way out, in new and colourfully creative ways…over and over again, exactly as we say so… Continue reading →

Taking back the wheel
Its when we get to take back the control of our own wheel that the wide-open road of life has this habit of coming up to meet us, unfolding a little more each day in proportion to our own preparedness to travel along it; as though there are whole stretches that never even bother to show themselves to us unless we display that initial willingness to take the journey of them. It makes me wonder at the vast expanse of road that, likely, never even appears to our senses when we fail to look out for it being there; and how much more endless highway there is “out there” to be explored when we are on the look out for the possibility of more, more, more all the time. Once we are open to exploring that road fully, adventurous, courageously wherever it may take us then, suddenly, life has this habit of opening up wide once again; I’ve demonstrated this truism, monumentally, twice in my life to date (as shared in this post…) and it won’t take a third time of forgetting for me to hold onto it from here now I’ve taken back that wheel for myself.
