Cultivating joie de vivre

Joy of life is about the most valuable commodity we have so we need to take charge of our own joy quota and do whatever we can to embody it, not to idealise it as a state beyond all care, outside of physicality as though joy is what we refer to as heaven, but in a physical sense hung around with all our most human traits. Thus the phrase joie de vive has it covered for me, as in, referring specifically to “the joy of life”; a kind of joy that is because of life, not separate from it. People say how can I have this when “things” are so dire and I would say go after it, make it happen, yes from your soul, but then once you have found ways to bring it into your body, those outside circumstances will start to change! Counting these 2020 blessings

As we cross the threshold into a new phase, I’m doing my gratitude appraisal of the year, as ever…but with, perhaps, even more appreciation than ever. I think we all agree, its been an “interesting” year and yet there’s part of me…and not just me but (I think its fair to observe) many of those close to me…that is more robust, self-knowing and somehow worldly-wise, in the broader sense, than ever before, and there have been some other unexpected upsides to an otherwise bizarre year… Continue reading

Choosing life: Jig of Life and the Ninth Wave

“For Now does ride in on the curl of the wave,

And you will dance with me in the sunlit pools.

We are of the going water and the gone.

We are of water in the holy land of water

And all that’s to come runs in

With the thrust on the strand.” Continue reading

Crack between worlds

When he speaks of the current times we are in, as of 2020, visionary scientist Greg Braden refers to this phase as a crack between worlds, just like those we experience each day just before the dawn or at the … Continue reading

Now is the moment to walk our talk

Now is also the time to invest with our full attention on what we really want, not what seems, what others talk about, what the papers say but what we really prefer and, if t doesn’t exist yet, get creative with our imagination. We need to energetically vote for the world we want to be living in, every moment of every single day. Continue reading

Writing “ourstory” together

What comes after “history”, what (can we speculate) takes over ready to walk us into a golden future? How do we continue to tell our story? Whilst truth will always remain, to some degree, a subjective thing, the very allowing of the subjectiveness…peaceably…leads us to a new, curious, intelligent, open-minded, accepting, inclusive way of spinning stories that feeds a better future rather than always seeking to claim the victory of the past or control the future. Rather, we feed the future…together. Continue reading

Preparing to meet Earth’s higher self

Whether you believe in astrologically scheduled leaps or not, I am living testament to them, of learning hands-on what it is to wield subtle yet undoubted powers of energetic influence that I once believed to be fable (or had no opinion about at all) and so I maintain that is something I am familiar with…and can still learn from, hence the current desire to revisit the era when they first awoke in me and the dark that preceded that (just as we are seemingly in the dark mire now, collectively). Learning from what I have been through, I find myself newly poised for the shift in eras that is upon us (yes, its written in the stars). Continue reading

Pigment of life

When a new paradigm starts to emerge, it can seem lacking in depth, an unfamiliar “convenience food” where a complex banquet of life used to be, throwing us into a turmoil of nostalgia for the old ways…though we don’t want those either. What calls us through the bewildering territory is an unspeakable force, an original spark without name… Continue reading

Autism and the Age of Aquarius

Those on the spectrum are questioners, movers, shakers, speakers of blunt truth; we don’t dress things up or tolerate status quo when harm is involved. These traits empower and serve as a very backbone when our more visionary, empathic, willingly sociable yet almost hopelessly unstructured side knows not what to do next. Exploring the evolutionary context of autism in general and Asperger’s in particular. Continue reading
