The joy of finding tribe

When you find “tribe” your relative uniqueness can flip from being a weakness to becoming your very power-point…that which unites you and makes you more determined to be the difference together. Deep familiarity sweeps you over for the fact that it is so typically absent when you are amongst other people…and suddenly you are all lit up, laughing at all the ironies that once floored you, ignited with enthusiasm, passion, innovation and determination whilst eagerly gobbling up all the resources you can pool together. Its a powerful thing and all the more so when its been absent from your life for so long you had all but convinced yourself you were destined to travel this road alone.

Staying dry?

We are not infallible on this road to our higher consciousness, even though we may notice we have the wind behind us once we get on our way. Part of that awakening consciousness is to be aware of this hardship and the paradoxical nature of the territory…and notice where we are still vulnerable; where old addictions and fears draw us back to what no longer resonates for reasons such as familiarity or wanting to belong. From time to time, we may need to think into these areas as well as using the heart (the head is not our enemy; it can be our servant…or research-assistant…when we need to be quite clear about something where there are old-trends to be made sense of). Doing “the work” of thinking something through can help support the heart without taking it over. Its just a new way of orchestrating an age-old partnership, with different emphasis, putting us on a better footing to approach a decision openly, without agenda, except to serve the highest outcome. We are the keystone of the bridge

Too often, the well-meaning desire for wholeness resorts to force or self-claimed authority to try to make this union happen; and its left uncomfortable, raw, impermanent and ready to blow-up at again at the slightest pressure. When we craft a version of wholeness as an extension of ourselves, in the way of any true project of the heart, the in-built incentive is already there to remain whole because it feels so good; since it comes straight from our divinity. We are remembering who we really are, outside the arena of halves that is the earth plane, and it feels…well…divine! Continue reading

Little wren

All kinds of realities can look as real as anything as we proceed through our human existence; we are all surrounded by them, every day, but when we keep hurting ourselves because of them, we can be sure they are a fiction of some kind…perhaps one that is so long-running that we don’t even remember anything different. They can be as convincing as anything we have ever seen, made all the more potent through the tug of nostalgia and familiarity. When they are a false reality in our experience, and they suddenly dissolve, we don’t go to pieces with that circumstance but, rather, that dissolution is what it takes to end the repeat cycles of self-destruction….perhaps even those repeated across many lifetimes. We stop hurling ourselves and hurtling mindlessly towards things that don’t serve us, in search of what we have fixated upon as “what we need to perpetuate in order to survive”. As is sometimes the case before illusory worlds fall apart (as we are seeing happen right now in our world-politics…), the illusory reality sometimes has to be stepped up to become even more overtly unnatural than ever, in order for us to “get it” and move on. Such a moment is what proceeds the moment of realisation…when we, as it were, wake up to what is real and swiftly find our way back to ourselves.

This tale of extreme optimism was “told” to me by a little wren just the other day… Continue reading

Phases of the Moon

We can lose touch with the thread of “who we meant to be” as the cloth of life becomes ever more wooly with the friction of circumstance and it can be so useful to reconnect with that most pristine of golden fibres; the one that led us to want to be here at this place and time in our collective evolutionary story, contributing our all-important piece to the tapestry. Working with phases of the moon has been such a powerful mechanism for carrying out such an overview; so much so that I want to share what I learned from an extraordinary book on this topic. Like willow

In order to heal, we sometimes need the deep, telluric energy that is a manifestation of the feminine aspect to come up through our “roots” and to flush through he whole of our system without any of the rub-factor that generates the circumstancial furniture of our lives being used to grab onto it for creative purposes in attempted merger with the masculine aspect. At such times, even the gentlest of meetings with the masculine can feel all too much and we long (at some level that we often fail to acknowledge) to just surrender to the flow and let everything slip out of our white-knuckle grip. This can resemble a sort of death as we stop all but the most fundamental activity to just “be” in its purest sense; when, really, it is a rebirth. Like flushing out an old plumbing system that has started to hiccough and vibrate whenever it is in use, our whole energy system requires that one-way flush to occur, and for this to be repeated for as long as it takes, for deep and lasting healing to take place. Once we have re-mastered its free flowing emergence, we can integrate it more fully than ever before. Continue reading

Beyond binary into unlimited

All my wires seem to bunch here in this place of knowing that what comes next is not in spite of the body but about to happen with it, through it, in it and because of it…in ways that we have yet to fully comprehend with our human minds or to realise broadly within our three-dimensional form; though we will. It’s not one in replacement of the other….it’s a cascade of higher dimensions through the floodgates of the “lower” that previously held them at bay for fear of self-destruction, to work together in ways that are more astonishing than we can grasp with our minds…but to get there we need to take steps to hold onto our flesh, to remain firmly grounded and involved with our humanness and yet allow what is beyond it; both at the same time (like continuously patting your head and rubbing your stomach simultaneously, this is no mean feat). To youngsters who are being born ready for just this, it will come far more naturally. To those of us with many more decades of believing in the “either ~ or” scenario which is our familiar world (though we may deny that we ever truly subscribed to it…yet it was always in there at our core as debris left by entrained belief systems and ancestral patterning) it will be far more tricky. We will have to find our own modality or bridge for bringing this about or, almost, tricking or distracting the mind while grounding and reassuring the body and simultaneously opening-up to the higher perspective until it has landed at the cellular level (and I think I have found mine). Its daunting but many of us reach a place where we truly feel we have to make the attempt.

Crystal living: life beyond “the rub”

When you are indigo with coinciding experience (direct from many lifetimes or inherited from parents and culture) of karmic perspectives, it is possible to work with all those old themes in order to balance and so transform them and yet remain fully aware of them; conscious, always, that you are not “in” or “of” those themes but holding a pristine overview. In other words, you are not fully taken in by them though you don’t fail to take them seriously; for, while the mass consciousness continues to operate via these themes, they remain extremely potent and precarious.

But as you step into crystal (which, for me, has been the last decade) you realise that those themes are so old now, so tired, that they just have to go in order for you and everyone else to progress towards a new reality. They need to be dissolved and swept away as though they never even existed in order to make the next leap; without even so much as a souvenir kept for old time’s sake. The longing to do so takes you over the more you spend time in the crystal frequencies, which can feel like many (many) near death experiences and yet, when you return with your new shining booty, you still(!) keep plunging back into the mire or, if “you” don’t, your biology does as your cells have previously known no other way to be, so they hold memory far longer and more determinedly than your consciousness, setting up repeat cycles that it is incredibly hard to break out of since it takes time and consistency for cells to learn to operate quite differently and without all that baggage. So can this be overcome without taking the body over some sort of crisis of no return as it struggles to embody so much high-frequency energy? I like to think so… Continue reading

Raising an indigo

Raising an indigo child can be as exhausting as it is rewarding yet it will have contributed to our own personal evolution in more than we can quickly summarise. As these children start to come of age, what have we learned, what have we offered them and in what ways have we set the basis for a super-powerful collaboration that continues to give rise to a whole new world landscape, and far faster and more astonishingly than we have ever seen manifest before.
