Whilst the post below may still be useful to you, it feels way out of date to me as I have come SO FAR in my healing journey since then and, rather than update it any more times (it has been edited at least once), I urge you to look at the more up-to-date information on that website, an invaluable resource that its added to all the time. I just want to add that healing is MORE THAN possible; fibromyalgia is merely a label I use these days so that other people have some idea what I am talking about. Best of all, the whole journey has been SUCH a gift that I don’t regret a thing.

This is a personal account of my recovery from the complex and bewildering territory that is Fibromyalgia, including all the many epiphanies and quantum leaps along the way, to the point where I came to see it as the very best thing that had ever happened to me. Looking back across its landscape, I see how this decade has been spent slowly but surely regathering all of the scattered parts of myself and putting them back together in such a way that I now find I am much more than the sum of my parts, for which I am infinitely grateful.
